Over the last years, there has been an increasing trend towards use of environmentally friendly processes to synthesize nanomaterials. In case nanomedicine, bionanofactories with associated biological properties, such as seaweed, emerged a promising field work due possibility they open for both preservation those properties in nanomaterials synthesized and/or reduction their toxicity. present study, gold (Au@SP) and silver (Ag@SP) nanoparticles were using aqueous extract Saccorhiza polyschides (SP). Several techniques showed that formed spherical stable, mean diameters 14 ± 2 nm Au@SP 15 3 Ag@SP. The composition biomolecules also analyzed. analyses performed indicate acts protective medium, particles embedded it preventing aggregation coalescence. Ag@SP superior immunostimulant antiproliferative activity on immune tumor cells, respectively, SP extract. Moreover, able modulate release reactive oxygen species depending concentration.
